Troubleshooting

  • Common Errors:
  • If you try to start your Minecraft server and you get the error message: FAILED TO BIND PORT, this usually means you wrote the wrong IP-address in the server.properties file, or your IP has changed. To fix this error, try to doublechecking your IPv4-address. 
  • If you can join your own server, but your friends can't, this usually means that something went wrong when you tried to port forward. Please check your port forwarding. 
  • For any kinds of trouble with the server software, make sure that you run the latest version of java. 
  • Be aware that Minecraft and it's multiplayer is still in Beta and you may encounter various bugs.
